Hello! I am washington state native. I identify as Mixed Race. My father is from Washington and My mother is a mexican native. My preferred pronouns are He/Him.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Theatre Arts at Western Washington University. I received my Master in Teaching at Western Washington University. After interning for famed theatre director Ruben Van Kempen, I went on to direct and Coordinate play productions at Public high schools in the Pacific Northwest.
I balance my day job with personal creative work, like directing, acting, writing, consulting, and producing , which garnered attention from a few local theaters in the Pacific Northwest. I have produced theatrical work at Western Washington University, iDiOM Theater, The Pocket Theater, The Slate Theater, Eclectic Theater, Edmonds Driftwood Players, Roosevelt High School, Glacier Peak High School, Mount Baker Theatre, and Seattle Repertory Theatre.
My creative approach—no matter the play—is to make theatre relevant, exciting, and accessible to audiences. I am fierce advocate for new work that is bold, experimental, and innovative. For me, theatre is a much needed lens to view the absurdities of our current world. Theatre should arrest the audience. Theatre should change an audience and illicit empathy. Theatre should be produced with high quality and excellence. Ultimately, this art form is about creating better human beings.
